Commander's Field Manual - Tactical Command RTS

OVERVIEW

Tactical Command is a real-time strategy game where you command armies, gather resources, build bases, and defeat enemy factions. Choose from three unique factions, each with distinct playstyles and units.

Objective: Destroy all enemy buildings to achieve victory. Don't let them destroy yours!

RESOURCES & ECONOMY

Credits (Gold Star)

The primary currency for building structures and training units.

How to gather:

  1. Select a Worker unit
  2. Right-click on a Crystal deposit (glowing blue/purple tiles)
  3. Workers automatically harvest and return resources to your Headquarters

Workers carry 50 credits per trip at 5 credits/second harvest rate.

Power (Green Circle)

Required to operate buildings and advanced units. Build Power Plants to increase capacity (+50 each).

Supply (Blue People)

Determines your army size. Build Supply Depots (+10) or additional Headquarters (+10) to increase the cap.

TIPS & STRATEGIES

Economy First: Build 5-8 workers early for strong income before expanding your army.
Don't Get Capped: Build Power Plants and Supply Depots before you hit your limits.
Scout Early: Know where crystal deposits and enemies are located.
Use Control Groups: Assign your army to hotkeys (Ctrl+1) for quick selection.
Mixed Army: Combine infantry, vehicles, and air for balanced forces.
Attack-Move: Hold A then right-click - units will engage enemies while moving.

Faction-Specific Tips

Terran: Commanders boost nearby units with Rally and Inspire abilities.

Zephyr: Use regeneration - retreat wounded units to heal between fights.

Ironclad: Siege Walkers have range 12 - use them to outrange enemy defenses.
